thurs fri and saturday, plus sunday.

thursday night: nice dinner with xt teehee which started off with well, dinner, and then people-watching, and HEAVY people-watching trying to spot so-and-so and so-and-so's other half. so-and-so was spotted but so-and-so's other half remains to be seen lol. during all that heavy people-watching(lololololol!) we were singing and irritating the hell out of her neighbour HAHA and "YAAAAAAAA-KULT"-ing, to the rhythm? tune? tone? of "YUMMMM SENG!" of course we were drinking yakult and YAAAA-KULT-ing at the same time HAHA if not you think i'm(xt's silly we all know that TEEHEE!) stupid ISSIT! lalalaa.

**now xt's trying to send me the pic of so-and-so's other half over msn but her internet connection's being irritating haha. me and so-and-so's other half are so not fated to see each other lala! omg this is the third time sending already STILL dc hahahhahaha.

oh btw xt, my friend, who was on the court, told me that so and so's skills at that sport is quite koyok LOL. koyok. not i say one huh. i'm just quoting him hahahaha. koyok. that's a word i haven't heard of in a long long time.

friday was spent sleeping in. like REALLY sleeping in haha.
see i woke up at 3pm. brushed my teeth washed my face, ate my lunch read the newspapers, drank yakult(again), watched abit of tv and felt so tired so i went back to my bed at 5+ pm and fell asleep despite all the heat(damn hot on friday right!? DAMN HOT I TELL YOU.).

then i woke up at 9 plus and ate my dinner and just slouched in front of the tv watching ghost whisperer (jennifer love hewitt is SO hot i tell you!), the channel 5 news, some other ghost ghost show, survivor in china, the taiwan 100% yu le thing by xiao zhu and xiao gui lol xiao zhu's so crappy i can die, and um, that english serial that has two blokes starring trying to find their father and exorcising the demons and stuff (forgot what's the title of that), oh and some magicians in love, or at love, whatever. it's a taiwanese idol drama with a horrible looking lead actress and bad looking actors dang what's with the directors man?! i mean, shouldn't idol dramas be CHOCK-FULL of goodlooking people to make up for the horrible acting skills?! tut-tut-tut.

and my day sort of ended at 4.30am with a super sian feeling har de har har i wonder why.

no i'm not being sarcastic i DO wonder why i'm feeling so sian oh a stroke of randomness here but the word chock-full reminds me of the chock lit shop! is that how you spell it? you know you know, that sundae shop archie and gang always go to? you know, pop tate's?

saturday was spent at jin wee's eating not nice food, mugging, queuing at aston's for ONE HOUR to eat not very nice food(i ate chargrilled chicken and he ate prime ribeye steak) and excuse me WHY DOES ICE WATER COST 30CENTS?! dang okay but i forgive them since the food's really quite cheap.

grumble mumbles: the food at aston's came cold. cold? hello cold. i really dont think i'm being an unreasonable bitch when i've queued for an hour and all i expect is my food to be at least, warm. but it was cold. oooooo my mouth almost froze. dammit.

i really don't know what's all the hype about aston's but i really wouldn't ever go back there if i had to queue for an hour. well unless i can get a seat IMMEDIATELY. well just try them once la i think once is enough. it's really not worth it to queue for an hour or so dang dang triple dang. unless you're really really into cheap western food then up to you la huh.

okay question: do you consider braces a form of plastic surgery?

i was arguing over this today with dumb while we were at jin wee's and i don't know why but he always gives me the feeling that he thinks i'm stupid for thinking that braces are a form of plastic surgery (henceforth termed PS).

he says: the processes that go along with putting in braces are not a form of surgery so it cannot be considered PS.

i say: define plastic surgery in a broader way and it is considered a form of PS. i claimed that tooth extraction (which in many cases, is a process that precedes braces) is a form of surgery and since the whole thing involves beautifying yourself, it is a form of PS. well at that point in time, i was basically bull shitting about the extraction being a surgery thing haha.

anyway i just did a little research and tooth extraction IS a form of surgery and the procedures are performed by oral surgeons and well, the main aim of getting braces is to improve your smile, hence enhancing your looks.
it involves changing something that is NOT necessary(most of the time) so why am i wrong?

i mean, the way he puts it across that i'm wrong, you'd think that i just said the Earth is rectangular or something to that effect.

but i really do think that braces are a form of PS, or cosmetic surgery, whatever you want to call it. sure you can say its more of a health issue and give me arguments that straight teeth can prevent food particles being stuck in between the gaps yada yada but at the end of the day, you and i know that most braces are put in to improve his/her aesthetic appeal.

just that braces are becoming so commonplace that you all don't think its PS/CS anymore. oh well.

and just to clear it up, i'm not against braces in any way.
actually i would have gone for braces too if i weren't so afraid of oral pain, you know, teeth pain and gum pain all that.
i'm weird in that way. i can stand pain inflicted on my skin and injections/scalpels all that mumbo-jumbo but i just. cannot stand pain in my mouth.
when your gums hurt, it goes straight to your nerves and omg icannotstandmynerves.

anyway, i'm totally fine with PS/CS.

and to those of you who're so put off by it, isn't wearing push-up bras and putting make-up a temporal form of enhancing your own appearances? you want your breasts to look bigger, want your cheeks to look redder blah blah blah so why do you not approve of people who have the money and the courage to go for procedures that will enable them to look more pleasing (this is subjective though) permanently.?

they're doing the same thing you're doing, no?
